According to recent reporting, since 2021, Rose Dough Donuts has operated through a series of pop-up events and by gaining online sales. Now, Rose Dough Donuts has announced plans to open a brick and mortar location.

Although owner Katie Passo recently shared her intentions to open a permanent space next year, she isn’t currently sharing further details such as the address of the forthcoming location. Passo told What Now Columbus that while the forthcoming brick and mortar won’t have seating, it will offer its guests a place to pick up donuts and other food items for carryout.

In terms of the menu, the space will feature the same unique donuts Rose Dough is known for, like its recent Friends-giving themed selection, which were six donuts in flavors inspired by iconic food items from the TV series Friends

And when the space opens, there may be some additional offerings, such as a donut breakfast sandwich, and Passo may explore options to partner with a coffee shop to carry coffee or other beverages.

While there isn’t a firm opening timeframe yet, Passo hopes to be open by late spring.

“A lot of things have to line up first, but I hope to be open by National Donut Day,” she said. The holiday occurs on the first Friday in June, which is June 6 in 2025.

The business currently has a crowdfunding campaign in order to help raise the funds needed to open the brick and mortar, with designated perks for those who give at varying levels. Learn more about the business and its Go Fund Me campaign on its website
