UPDATE (January 7, 2019): Gusto! To Debut January 15 in West Midtown Center
Gusto! founder Nate Hybl in a press release late last week revealed more details surrounding the fast-casual restaurant’s forthcoming West Midtown Center (Northside and 17th) outpost.
The restaurant, which currently has locations in the South Buckhead and Virginia-Highland neighborhoods of Atlanta, will serve its bowls and wraps for lunch and dinner starting in September 2018.
“We are very excited to enter West Midtown and extend our footprint to this bustling, growing part of Atlanta,” Hybl said.
“We needed a presence in this area, and we’re looking forward to differentiating in the center as a locally-born brand.”
Construction on this location begins in July, and architect Gensler will make adaptations and efficiencies to Gusto!’s current business model for the new store’s smaller footprint of 1,430 square feet, according to the release.
“Although Gensler is tasked with the challenge of editing Gusto!’s modern industrial style for a smaller space, the restaurant will still feature the same speedy service and familiar interiors for which the brand has become known.”
The West Midtown design sports the concept’s signature bright yellow and white color palette, an open kitchen, countertop seating and local art.
“This unique, smaller restaurant will showcase another version of gusto! offering us the opportunity to lean into a new model that could work for other areas,” Hybl said.
Gusto! West Midtown will also offer catering services and delivery via Uber Eats and Postmates.
“As demand for delivery continues to increase, we’re looking forward to having another launching point that will extend our reach for providing more flavorful fast casual options in an area where our customers have been requesting a Gusto! restaurant.”
A Decatur location of Gusto! is slated to open later this year.
