Boba Theory is opening an Emory Point outpost.

The bubble tea concept will take a 2,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Indian restaurant Paradise Biryani Pointe.

Situated adjacent Papi’s, at 1540 Avenue Place, Boba Theory fronts Clifton Road.

Hien Huynh launched the brand late-2016 with a location in Morrow, GA.

“We haven’t seen this concept in the Emory area so I think we can generate some movement,” Huynh Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

“Our interior designer is working diligently to give the space a new breath of air. Hopefully, the new look will be a big surprise.”

Boba Theory Emory Point could open as early as mid-September.

The bubble tea store is currently in the permitting process with the City of Atlanta.
