Neighbor’s Pub has taken over the lease of the former Hand-in-Hand, a company spokesperson Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

Hand In Hand abruptly shuttered earlier this month.

The adjacent restaurant is expanding into the Hand In Hand space and has already completed construction to take over the full patio. The patio is dog-friendly and will have servers from Neighbor’s Pub.

“We’re very excited for the opportunity to expand our concept into the new space and provide more for our guests, especially right in time for football season and the fall,” the company spokesperson said.

“While it is bittersweet to see our neighbor close, we are looking forward to providing more for the community.”

Neighbor’s pub is working on developing the interior with a goal of completing renovations by mid-2019.
