UPDATE (Oct. 16, 2018): The Brunch Spot to Replace Aloha Asian Bistro Downtown

Aloha Asian Bistro and Sushi is no longer open for business.

The downtown fast-casual eatery, at 550 Piedmont Avenue NE, went dark earlier this month without warning.

Aloha Asian Bistro’s phone as of Tuesday has been disconnected and the restaurant has been marked as “permanently closed” on Google.

A neighboring business owner confirmed the closure in an email to What Now Atlanta and a reader noticed early last week that “most of the fixtures, tables, etc.” have been removed.

Plans for the space are uncertain.

The small center housing Aloha seems to be doing well otherwise.

Midtown Tavern a few doors down earlier this year was acquired by Atlanta nightclub veterans.
