Skin and Bone Docs, a new “concierge-style” medical practice, is coming soon to Inman Park.
The facility will be housed in the N Highland Steel apartment building, at 240 North Highland Avenue Northeast suite C2, and will focus on esthetic and sports medicine.
Skin and Bone Docs is the brainchild of partners Dr. Jochen Schaefer and Dr. Philip Hoffman.
“Dr. Hoffman is board-certified in Sports Medicine and an athlete himself and passionate to treat patients with sports injuries and chronic musculoskeletal problems,” Dr. Schaefer in an email told What Now Atlanta.
“He will be providing state-of-the-art dynamic ultrasound diagnostics and PRP/stem cell therapy.”
Dr. Schaefer is board-certified in dermatopathology and certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and will be providing cosmetic injectable treatments with neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) and dermal fillers.
Skin and Bone Docs will also offer services like physician-grade medical peels and skin care, and the 2018 award-winning “Profound” treatment, “which is a minimally invasive procedure leading to 37 percent effect of a full surgical facelift.”
There will also be body sculpting using ultrasound technology.
Skin and Bone Docs could open before the end of the year, early-January.
Permits, expedited by Walter Jordan of the Dogwood Consulting Group, were submitted for the project last month.
