The Canteen, a micro food hall in Midtown, is switching out its TGM Bagel stall for TGM Soup Co., the Atlanta-Journal Constitution Thursday first reported.

Monday, January 28 will be the first day for TGM Soup Co., at 75 5th St NW #170.

TGM Soup Co. will be open for lunch only, serving soup, salad, and bread.

The Tech Square outpost is a permanent home for the TGM Soup Co. pop-up that has been operating at TGM Bread, the bakery operated by and next door to The General Muir at Emory Point, since 2016.

The pop-up will remain open.

On the menu will be soups like chicken and mushroom, brisket chili, Italian Wedding Soup, and tomato bisque.

The Canteen, owned and operated by The General Muir’s chef Todd Ginsberg and Ben and Jen Johnson and Shelly Sweet of West Egg Cafe, is ditching bagels for soup to better accommodate the lunch crowds in the Tech Square area.

Jen Johnson Friday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
