Houston’s Turkey Leg Hut is expanding to Atlanta this spring, Eater Atlanta Wednesday first reported.

A company spokesperson in a telephone interview confirmed the news with What Now Atlanta (WNA).

“We’re really excited about expanding into Atlanta,” the spokesperson said.

“Our response has been huge. We’ll put out more information as it comes but plan on Turkey Leg Hut opening in the spring.”

The exact location has not yet been disclosed but it looks like the restaurant could open in space formerly occupied by Figo Pasta in West Midtown.

The Turkey Leg Hut team in early-February on Facebook announced its plans to open in Atlanta.

“ATL, get ready,” the restaurant posted to its social media.

“The Turkey Leg Hut is coming your way.”

Alongside the announcement were several photos of the undisclosed future home of the restaurant known for its “world famous stuffed turkey legs.”

WNA identified the location as the now-shuttered Figo Pasta, at 907 Marietta Street.

The “turnkey” space came on the market late-2018.

It has 3,788 square feet on the ground level and an additional 2,928 square feet upstairs.
