According to recent reporting, national coffee chain Biggby Coffee is coming to Columbus in a three store expansion. The three locations will be at 1742 Hilliard Rome Rd, 10726 Sawmill Rd and 8954 Owenfield Dr. Right now, the only place to grab Biggby Coffee is to travel to Marysville, where franchise owner Sandy Cruise and her family opened the first Biggby Coffee in the state.
Now Cruise has plans to expand to a second location in Marysville, at 18050 State Route 31 and tells What Now Columbus the expected opening timeline is August or September.
Biggby Coffee currently has over 300 locations throughout the Midwest and the East Coast. The coffee chain serves java drinks like lattes and americano, as well as tea and their signature smoothies called a creme freeze, available in a number of flavors with fruits such as the strawberry chai creme freeze. In addition to drinks, they also serve bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and muffins.
