When the pandemic cut off Las Vegas’s demand for limousine drivers, Dagge Negash decided to shift gears and shake up the hookah scene with Gazebo Restaurant and Hookah Lounge, featuring an Ethiopian menu.

As opposed to most hookah lounges in the Valley, Gazebo will open at 1 p.m., earlier in the day. Negash told What Now Las Vegas that they plan to offer a more mellow atmosphere by playing softer music. Negash also plans to prioritize customer service and provide quality hookah.

While Gazebo’s menu is still being developed, Negash explained that it would feature Ethiopian food from family recipes.

Ethiopian food is known for its earthy, spicy and tart mix of flavors, as well as the spongy sourdough flatbread injera

Just around the corner from West Flamingo Rd., Gazebo will be nearby Monzu Italian Oven + Bar, Nora’s Italian Cuisine and Red Shrimp Chinese Restaurant. The new hookah lounge and restaurant will open at 4180 South Jones Blvd. by the end of February.
