Found throughout Los Angeles and now Las Vegas, Dirt Dog has big plans in store for 2021.
Already on Rainbow Boulevard and Las Vegas Boulevard, Dirt Dog will be opening its third Vegas location in The Neonopolis at 450 Fremont St. in Unit #123, previously occupied by Cous Cous Mediterranean Cafe.
“Fremont Street is where everyone wants to be. It’s where all the locals come to play,” Dirt Dog Chief Operating Officer Tiffany Nguyen said. “We’re looking to open sometime in May.”
Another Dirt Dog is planned for northeast Las Vegas at 5101 E. Sahara Ave. The company is also looking at Henderson next for location number five.
Serving Los Angeles street food that Owner Timothy Cam discovered when he was a kid, Dirt Dog’s menu is filled with hotdogs layered with toppings.
Nguyen said one of the favorites for Vegas customers has been The House Dog, which comes wrapped with bacon, special house sauce, and green chile spread. The Pastrami Dog comes wrapped with bacon, pastrami, pickles, cheese, honey mustard, bacon bits, and sweet pepper aioli.
With plenty of L.A. transplants in the Vegas-area, Nguyen said they haven’t had any trouble finding customers
“Most have been to Los Angeles and had its street food,” she explained.
