Alon’s Bakery & Market is expanding to Buckhead with a location in Phipps Plaza.

The quick-service eatery and European-style market will open in a portion of the former Twist space at the Buckhead mall next year.

Owner Alon Balshan is looking to debut the roughly 5,000-square-foot space with a patio in mid-Summer, 2020.

Balshan this week struck the deal with landlord Simon Property Group for what will be the third Alon’s Bakery.

Existing locations are in Dunwoody and in the Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta.

Earlier this year the restauranteur filed plans to build a “manufacturing warehouse” in Doraville, at 2688 Peachtree Square.

It’s unclear if the warehouse has opened and exactly what’s it’s being used for.

Balshan has not responded to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
