CVS Pharmacy is planning a new North Hollywood storefront. The national retail chain will anchor the forthcoming Chandler NoHo apartments which have been under construction since late-2019, at 5401 Lankershim Blvd.
The seven-story building adjacent Metro’s North Hollywood Station boasts 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and is being developed by Richman Group as a “Signature Property.” It’s unclear what portion of the available commercial space CVS will occupy but a spokesperson for the company told What Now Los Angeles an opening is anticipated in the “second part of next year.”
“We have signed a lease with the landlord for this location and look forward to serving the community in the future,” they said.
CVS is currently seeking the necessary licenses to sell packaged alcohol out of the Chandler NoHo location for off-site consumption.
Chandler NoHo, situated at the northwest corner of Chandler and Lankershim Boulevards, will offer 127 apartments across a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom options, 10 of which will be affordable housing. There will also be a 218-car garage.
Chander NoHo is on track to debut late-2021.
