Simply Salad has permanently closed its Brentwood doors, at 11726 San Vicente Blvd. The chain of fast-casual, health-conscious eateries, has since removed the location from its website, and the space has been listed for lease.

The 1,578-square-foot space, complete with a 900 square-foot patio, sits on the ground floor of the Brentwood Executive Plaza office midrise which is anchored by CitiBank.

It’s unclear why Simply Salad Brentwood closed its doors. Reps for the restaurant did not respond to a request for comment by What Now Los Angeles but a manager at one of the DTLA locations confirmed the closure over the telephone.

Los Angeles-based Simply Salad has five remaining locations, according to the company’s website: two in DTLA, Koreatown, Ladera Heights, and Santa Monica. It was founded in 2010 by friends Bruce Teichman and Cameron Lewis, who aimed to “fix the salad experience.”
