Plan Check Kitchen + Bar’s shuttered City West restaurant in DTLA this week was listed for sale. The eatery quietly closed its doors earlier this month joining out-of-commission locations in Fairfax and Santa Monica. One remaining Plan Check is open in Sawtelle, the chain’s original location.

The DTLA restaurant, situated in Holland Residental’s Eleven Eleven apartment community, at 1111 Wilshire Blvd. # 103, is asking $450,000 in “key money” which includes the contents of Plan Check’s turn-key space (think furniture, fixtures, and equipment.)

Also included for a would-be tenant is a dedicated private patio, 14 parking spaces, and ABC Type 47 License and an approved Conditional Use Beverage permit to serve from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week. Rent, which is currently $6,581.50 monthly, is separate and the lease is good through October 2024.

It’s unclear why Plan Check pulled the plug in DTLA. Reps for the restaurant on Friday did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Los Angeles.
