Popular Asian grocery store 99 Ranch Market is heading to Westwood with a new location approximately a half-mile away from the University of California, Los Angeles.

A source with the Taiwanese-American supermarket chain owned by Tawa Supermarket Inc., which is based in Buena Park, California, Friday told What Now Los Angeles that the location, at 1360 Westwood Boulevard, will consist of two floors and will span more than 45,000 square feet.

99 Ranch Market, set to open in Westwood in 2021, replaces a now-shuttered Ross Dress for Less. The company operates more than 50 stores in the U.S., most of them in California, but has been branching out to the East Coast in the last few years.
