Greater Good BBQ has closed its East Lake doors, the Atlanta Business Chronicle Wednesday first reported (paywall.)

Signage at the Hosea + 2nd space announced the closure and encouraged would-be guests to visit one of the remaining locations in Buckhead or Tucker.

Greater Good BBQ’s website no longer lists the location on its website.

It’s unclear why the restaurant, at 2371 Hosea L Williams Drive SE, closed its doors.

Co-Owner Bill Wrench on Thursday did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Atlanta.

Greater Good first opened its East Lake doors in 2016 through a partnership with Clay Harper and Mike Nelson, the restauranteurs behind Fellini’s Pizza and La Fonda Latina.

There’s been a lot of recent restaurant movement at ReDevStudio’s Hosea + 2nd development.

Salaryman debuted earlier this year in space previously occupied by the short-lived Mary Hoopa’s and Savannah’s Perc Coffee Roasters has plans to open at the project next year.

  • The service here was terrible and slow. Food was ok but couldn’t overcome the service and beer list. Too bad.

    Salaryman is also bad….
