Construction will wrap in roughly five months at Lady Ha, a Vietnamese street food restaurant on the Atlanta BeltLine level of the century-old Ford Factory Lofts, owner Ha Thu Kieu confirmed with What Now Atlanta over the phone.
It will take at least that amount of time to completely build-out the restaurant from scratch, including a full kitchen and indoor dining area, says David Smith, managing member of Trowbridge Partners, LLC, which secured the lease.
But it will be well worth the wait, Smith assures.
“The offerings at the Market Hall and the energy generated by 725 Ponce, Ponce City Market, and the Ford Factory Lofts have done a tremendous amount to establish this portion of the Beltline as a dining destination and Lady Ha will offer a visible, accessible dining offering right along the BeltLine Trail.”
In addition to street food, boba tea and fresh fruit smoothies will be served on both the mezzanine and ground level, as well as beer from a partnership with craft brewery Hopstix.
And for good measure, the patio and a dining mezzanine will be connected by roll-up garage doors, Smith adds, that help to bring Lady Ha and the Beltline environment together.
Lady Ha will join the soon-to-open Rina at the Ford Factory Lofts, which is currently getting whitewashed, in late-spring/early-summer 2020.
