Bada Bings Bourbon, Beer & Burgers isn’t renewing its lease in the Pencil Factory Lofts.

The restaurant’s last day in business, at 349 Decatur St. SE Suite A-1 in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood, will be December 29, according to a post to the Bada Bings Facebook page Thursday morning.

“With a new year comes new change,” ownership posted to the social media platform.

“Our lease of seven years is up. We won’t be renewing at this location. The proposal for new lease renewal does not support our concept. We thank all of you for your loyal support over the years!”

Owner Lawrence Morrow confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta.

“We plan on taking a small breather, as we also have a successful sales consulting firm to run,” Morrow said.

“However, we are looking for new locations here in Atlanta OTP or ITP as well as Austin Texas. Once we find the right spot that supports our concept you will be the first to know. “

Pencil Factory, by way of Vantage Realty Partners, has already listed the 4,625-square-foot Bada Bings space for lease.

The rent is negotiable starting at $27 per square foot per year.
