Chef Edoardo Baldi is looking to more than double the number of his edo Little Bites restaurant in Los Angeles by 2022. Baldi, who also owns the e. baldi Ristorante in Beverly Hills, is in negotiations to open a new location of edo Little Bites in Westfield Topanga by 2022. “Most likely we will” move forward, Baldi told What Now Los Angeles. The mall is currently undergoing a $70 million facelift. Post renovations, Westfield Topanga, at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, is expected to include a “chef-driven food hall” as part of what the mall is calling “The District.”
Ahead of expanding to the Canoga Park mall, Baldi on February 1, 2021 will open an edo Little Bites, at 3280 N Sepulveda Boulevard, in Manhattan Beach’s Manhattan Village Center with a quick-service model that offers sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Manhattan Village Center completed a $12 million interior renovation in the spring of 2018 and is expected to complete a 53,300-square-foot expansion, called the Village Shops, by 2021. Baldi said that the planned edo Little Bites location will be the “focus point” of the Village Shops (rendering pictured above.)
Edo Little Bites currently operates in three locations: Palisades Village, Beverly Hills, and The Grove.
