In addition to our normal news coverage, What Now Atlanta is tracking ways Atlanta’s businesses are adapting to the novel coronavirus and the challenges it brings to brick-and-mortars.
Nuevo Laredo Cantina as of Saturday, April 18 has reopened for takeout nearly two weeks after the popular Mexican eatery temporarily closed its doors April 6 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including suspension of all to-go service.
“In order to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and our community, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our restaurant, including to-go services at this time,” Nuevo Laredo Cantina announced on Facebook at the time of closing.
“We plan on reopening in two weeks, but we will continue to share updates on our Facebook and Instagram page.”
Now the restaurant is operating on a limited takeout-only menu seven days a week, Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Delivery is not an option, however.
In addition to the “limited menu,” Nuevo Laredo Cantina is also offering “fajita packs” in orders of four, six, and eight servings.
