Chili Competition Details

The competition takes place in teams, with each team needing to prepare 7-10 gallons of chili. The more chili samples served, the more votes the teams get. The competition is divided into four categories, which are as follows:
- Best Chili Amateur Division:Â The top three winners are awarded prize money, plaques and/or trophies, and gift certificates.
- Best Chili Restaurant/Caterer Division:Â Prize money, plaques and/or trophies, and gift certificates are given to the top three winners.
- Most Spirited Team:Â The top three teams with the best booth presentation and outfits are awarded under this category.
- People’s Choice Award: Visitors vote for their favorite chili.
