Chalktoberfest Brings Beer, Art, and Music to Marietta – Tickets Drop Soon

Marietta Square will come alive for Chalktoberfest on October 11-12. The annual event pairs a world-class chalk art showcase with a lively craft beer festival. Presented by the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art (MCMA), the two-day event features chalk artists, contests, a craft beer and wine festival, live music, an arts and crafts market, food trucks, and more. Admission is free, though a separate ticket is required for the Craft Beer Festival.

The iconic Marietta Square will become home to the much-awaited Chalktoberfest on October 11-12. Presented by the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, the two-day event will bring over 80 chalk artists, 40 breweries, more than 120 beers, and 20 wines.

From sipping craft brews to watching professional chalk artists in action, there’s something for everyone at Chalktoberfest. All proceeds from the event support the efforts of the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. With live music from local artists and food at the downtown square, the family-friendly fest is designed to offer something for everyone.

More than 80 nationally and internationally acclaimed artists will transform Marietta’s streets with vibrant chalk murals all weekend long. The art and craft market allows visitors to browse the arts and crafts made by local vendors.

A lineup of local food trucks will keep festivalgoers fueled as they explore the art. The Community Chalk Competition invites artists of all ages to turn the streets into a giant canvas.

Festivalgoers can sample over 120 craft beers and 25 wines while exploring Marietta Square. Ticket holders enjoy unlimited tastings of craft beer, cider, seltzers, and wine during Saturday’s Craft Beer Festival.

The Craft Beer Festival runs exclusively on Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm. The pour list for 2025 will be announced soon.

Music and Artist Lineup

Chalktoberfest will feature a full lineup of live music and performances throughout the weekend. The performers will treat attendees to free concerts over the weekend. Saturday kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with Jon Ingram performing the National Anthem.

Between 10 am and 5 pm, popular performing artists like The Spirit of Dance, Kränberries, Brother Whitlock, and Killbillies will keep the crowd entertained.

The lineup for Sunday includes performances by Powerhouse Dance Center, DanceFlix Academy, Harrison Meyer and Courtney Cumberland, and Rob Tharpe and The Sarah Nova Band.

At 3:15 pm, the individual winners of the Community Chalk Competition will be announced.

Tickets

The free festival includes professional chalk art, live music, an artisan market, vendor booths, and family-friendly activities. Attendees interested in Saturday’s Craft Beer Festival should purchase a ticket. The festival is rain or shine, and no refunds will be given.

The tickets for the beer festival are expected to go on sale soon. Due to legal regulations, the Craft Beer Festival ends promptly at 5 p.m., so guests should plan accordingly.

The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is dedicated to building community bonds through the arts. Chalktoberfest began as a fundraiser for the museum in 2013 and has since grown to attract over 80,000 people to Marietta Square to enjoy all that Chalktoberfest has to offer.
