In mid-August, the Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival invites Kennesaw and Metro Atlanta residents to enjoy two days of BBQ, desserts, craft beverages, and live country music. Since launching in 2000, this Kennesaw event has attracted families, food enthusiasts, and music fans with tastings, contests, local vendors, and live performances.

The 25th yearly celebration will take place along Main Street and at the United Bankshares Amphitheater at Depot Park. Downtown Kennesaw attendees will get to enjoy the summer festival from August 15 to 16.
Tasting, Contests, and Fun at the 2-day BBQ Festival
The Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival will feature various food activities, including its first-ever tasting experience. Attendees from Metro Atlanta can sample offerings from local restaurants and vendors during the new tasting event. The tasting event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, from 12 to 4 p.m. at Main Street Plaza. Limited tickets, priced at $21, are available online.
Pigs & Peaches organizers will host several food competitions, including the Backyard BBQ Contest. Other contests include the Peach Dessert Contest and the Anything Butt Contest, both crowd favorites.
