This fall season, Downtown Atlanta is gearing up to host one of America’s largest food festivals, Smorgasburg, starting October 18. A diverse lineup of food vendors is already confirmed, with more expected to join before the festival opens.
Smorgasburg ATL Brings Community Together
Smorgasburg is a weekly open-air event showcasing hundreds of local vendors. Launched in Brooklyn in 2011, the festival is a celebration of food and drinks from around the world.
Smorgasburg ATL makes its Atlanta debut on October 18 and will take place every Saturday in South Downtown Atlanta, featuring more than 40 local vendors and small businesses.
The new Smorgasburg season will feature a wide range of dishes, from comforting classics to bold international flavors.
Announcing the launch of Smorgasburg ATL, the official Instagram post said, “ATL, this is Smorgasburg, and it’s headed your way. We’re hyped for October and want everyone to know. Tag your brunch crew, your roommate, and your mom. Let’s make some noise.”

Vendor List and What to Expect
Smorgasburg ATL has announced its lineup of local favorites, including Argentine Eats, Bara, Delilah’s Everyday Soul, Hermanita, Madre Garcia’s, Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles, Pat’s Poutine, Phew’s Pies, Thicc Burger, and more. Vendors can still apply to join, offering Atlanta food lovers even more options to explore.
Beyond the food, visitors can browse vintage finds, handmade goods, and other creations from local artisans, highlighting Atlanta’s unique culture. Smorgasburg ATL will also feature live performances from local musicians and entertainment booths, making each Saturday a full day of food, art, and community.
With its mix of local eats, drinks, handmade art, and live music, Smorgasburg ATL is poised to become a Saturday staple for the South Downtown Atlanta community.
