Let’s Hear From the Owner and Her Team
The store’s hands-on owner is Sonya Harrison. She earned a degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta and completed the Landscape Design Certificate Program at Emory University. She, along with her knowledgeable team, has curated the store. The store’s unofficial mascot, Simba, the popular orange tabby cat, has made the move to the new store as well.
Speaking about her store, Harrison said, “We offer all aspects of custom design, from drafting a landscape plan to installation. Our team can help no matter how much space or light indoors or outdoors people have. We love to help people, especially those who have a problem to solve”.
Regarding the new store that will be celebrating its grand opening soon, Harrison said, “Our customers come from all across metro Atlanta to find unique plants and consult with our local experts on how to create their perfect gardens. Our new four-acre location allows us to expand our offerings.”
She went on to talk about the gardening culture in metro Atlanta. “Atlantans’ tastes and homes are as varied as the people. Whether it’s a formal English rose garden or a pollinator refuge for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, we love helping people succeed in creating their vision for their garden,” she said.
Harrison also talked about the garden trends in metro Atlanta. She says that sustainable, pollinator, and vegetable gardens are still popular. Container gardens that use planters and hanging baskets to create a lush garden in underused or small spaces are also in trend, according to her.
