A routine health inspection was conducted on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar. During this inspection, officials noted several health code violations, including one that had been found for the third time. The report indicates the issues may be related to insufficient active managerial control.

The staff did not change gloves when handling raw chicken or touching clean items used for food service. Disposable gloves are supposed to be used and changed between tasks.

Food debris was also found on plates that were stored as clean, while the ice machine had also built up debris. Some foods were not cooked properly, while TCS food was not stored according to the food code.
