Halpern’s McDonough Development Kicks Off With Starbucks Opening

Halpern Enterprises completes build-to-suit project at North McDonough Village and has Starbucks as the anchor tenant.

Halpern Enterprises recently announced the completion of its multi-tenant build-to-suit project in McDonough, Metro Atlanta. The 6,486-square-foot property is located within the North McDonough Village and will host three tenants.

Halpern Development Director Brad Oppenheimer, who led the project, said, “We’re excited to deliver another successful development project and long-term lease with Starbucks.” He continued to say, “North McDonough Village offers new construction, exceptional visibility along Hwy 155’s bustling retail corridor, and access to a dense population base.”

Starbucks Signs On, Two More Tenants to Follow

Starbucks is the first tenant at the new project by Halpern Enterprises, taking up a 2,486-square-foot space. The coffee shop has opened at its new location under a 10-year lease agreement. Starbucks was represented in the lease transaction by Palmer Bayless of Emerge Real Estate Services.

The second tenant will take up a 2000-square-foot space for a dentist’s office. The company said that the details of this tenant are “not yet announcable.”

The last space in the three-tenant building has an area of 2,000 square feet and is available for prospective tenants.

North McDonough Village Under Construction

North McDonough Village is a 20-acre mixed-use project by Halpern Enterprises. It includes future housing with the 84-unit residential development by Rockhaven Homes and prime retail pad sites ranging from ±1.0 to ±1.3 acres. Located at 5905 E Lake Parkway in McDonough, it is just west of the intersection of East Lake Parkway and Highway 155.

The mixed-use development is placed adjacent to the North McDonough Crossing, which is also owned by Halpern Enterprises. This project will soon be anchored by a 46,000-square-foot Fitness2020 and is just west of the brand-new Kroger Marketplace.
