According to the health inspection report, Touchdown Wings has been reported for multiple health code violations. They are as follows:
- At the start of the inspection, no person in charge (PIC) was present. As a corrective measure, the inspector suggested a PIC must be on-site at all times during food service operations.
- The report indicated that the person in charge (PIC) was not present at the beginning of the inspection. Inspectors advised that a PIC be available during food service hours.
- The report noted that employees were handling washed celery with their bare hands.
- The report pointed out that a food employee was washing hands in the three-compartment sink. Food employees must wash their hands only in a designated handwashing sink or approved automatic handwashing facility, the health inspectors said.
- A food employee was seen handling raw burger patties, then touching cooked shrimp, chicken, buns, and foil without changing gloves. The measure suggested that single-use gloves must be changed when handling raw and ready-to-eat foods.
- Health inspectors observed that raw fish, chopped chicken, and cooked shrimp were all held above 41°F in the walk-in cooler.
- Sticky fly traps were seen kept above the prep table where rice was being cooked and hot-held. Inspectors observed sticky fly traps placed above multiple raw chicken containers. The report noted that placements like these bear a risk of contamination to food, equipment, and utensils.
