Lure Announced to Shut Down in August
Operated by Fifth Group Restaurants, Lure carried the tagline, ‘Line-caught, wood-fired, ocean inspired. Oysters, fresh seafood, and craft cocktails helped drive strong sales throughout its run.
On July 28, 2025, a social media announcement revealed that the restaurant will bid farewell to the community by serving for the last time on August 30, 2025. The post was a heartfelt message from the team that read, “This wasn’t an easy call — places like this don’t come around often. Lure has been a love letter to the coast, written in crudo, cocktails, and conversation. It’s been the scene of first dates, late nights, last rounds, and legendary happy hours.”
The restaurant thanked the community for its support and invited guests to join for one final celebration. Fifth Group will transition Lure’s staff to its other restaurant concepts, leaving the door open for future ventures.
Lure’s closure adds to a growing list of Atlanta restaurant shifts in 2025. The restaurant held a prime corner in Midtown’s vibrant arts and dining district for 13 years. The sale presents a rare opportunity to acquire a move-in-ready restaurant in one of Midtown’s busiest dining corridors.
