  • I genuinely love these posts – they let me know which restaurants around Atlanta to avoid! Sure, they may fix the issues and eventually pass their inspections, but the fact that they ever failed in the first place is always a red flag for me. I was really surprised about Yeah! Burger and a few others last month.

  • Inspections are important. So many kitchen have awful sani conditions. Most of the line cooks out there don’t have a clue and health code!!! It’s hard to operate a kitchen. Cooks are kind of like teachers. They are important but no one wants to pay them. If cooks were paid properly we would have better quality workers but then the dining scene would be much more expensive. It’s a big problem in the restaurant world. How about add another $5 or $10 to that already increasing dinner bill. Don’t get me started on servers. The Ponce City Markets and Krogs and Marietta Square and Decatur and all the other scenes are built on the backs of restaurant staff. That is why tipping is so important. Two people win first in this deal: the landowner and the dinning patron. Another reason why you should be very thoughtful and careful when you want to sling mud at a restaurant on google reviews. Now where is the Yelp page for the inspectors…what were their names?

  • It’s kind of f*cked up that if a restaurants fails inspection they are given 24 hours to fix the problems to pass without the failing score being posted and then something like this is posted when many of these restaurants probably had passing scores the next day after inspection. Way to ruin a small businesses!
