Offering an experience of the Southern food and traditions in Atlanta, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar will open its new location in Gainesville. The latest updates from the restaurant say that its grand opening will be in May 2025.
The soon-to-be-opened restaurant will conduct a 4-week hiring event for over 100 front- and back-of-house positions. They will be hiring servers, hosts, bartenders, line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and more.

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar On A Hiring Spree
Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar will be conducting open interviews for various hourly positions for its new Gainesville location from March 24. The interviews will continue till April 19, 2025, at The Courtyard by Marriott, 124 E E Butler Parkway, Gainesville. The interviews will happen between 10 AM and 5 PM every day from Monday to Saturday.
Applicants who would like to join the team at the farm-to-table restaurant with a legacy of over 20 years can swing by for the interviews. They are expected to carry two forms of ID, as well as a resume, if available while appearing for the interviews.
The management team at the restaurant will be conducting the interviews. The application can be submitted online in advance. Applications will be accepted onsite at the venue, and there will be computers available to complete the application process.
The restaurant is looking to hire a team to run its 6,585 square-foot eatery. The menu offerings will consist of a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The restaurant will be serving all-day brunch, lunch, and dinner. A drinks menu with wine, beer, and liquor will be offered as well.
The hiring announcement said, “The restaurant team is excited to connect and work with great local talent in Gainesville, and become an active part of the community.” The restaurant will be opening for diners in about two months, after the staff have been hired.
Atlanta-based real estate investment and development firm Branch Properties announced Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar in 2023. Its construction was expected to be completed, and the opening was expected to take place in late 2024, but it was delayed for unknown reasons. It will soon be the latest addition to the restaurant lineup at Limestone Parkway in Gainesville, which anchors the Publix Super Markets.
