As the VaHi Summerfest returns for its 40th edition this year, Virginia-Highlanders are excited for the upcoming celebration. Held each year in June, this is also one of the largest art festivals in the Southeastern United States. The festivities always bring something new each year, while also holding a fundraiser to bring growth and development to the community.

The event takes place in the heart of the Virginia-Highland neighborhood in Intown Atlanta. The festivities take over the scenic and historic Virginia Avenue between North Highland Ave. and Park Drive. More details on the event are as follows:

  • An Artist Market that features over 200 fine art booths, showcasing sculptures, paintings, textiles, ceramics, photography, wood, and metal works, will open at Virginia Avenue.
  • Enjoy the route winding through the beautiful Virginia-Highland neighborhood by taking part in the 5K run. Inviting visitors for the run for 30+ years, this is among the highlights of the event.
  • The event also holds something for young runners – Tot Trot invites runners between the ages of 1 and 5 to take part in this special race.
  • The Kidfest invites all young ones to take part in the event and enjoy all the special activities held for them. From games, inflatable slides, crafts, and more, the event ensures all young guests get to enjoy the festivities.
  • Enjoy live performances from bands such as Susto, Mama’s Love, Eddie 9V, Fruit, DJ Sky, and more, providing entertainment throughout the event.
