The Atlantic Companies has announced the redevelopment of the former Myers Carpet building. The property will be transformed into a retail-focused mixed-use destination. Pre-leasing is now underway, and construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Atlantic Companies Announces Development Plans

On February 10, 2026, The Atlantic Companies announced its development plans for the former Myers Carpet Building. Acquired by the company in January 2023, the building is located directly on the Atlanta Beltline. The company plans to transform the property into a mixed-use destination after witnessing the success of The Grove on the site.
In August 2025, Monday Night Brewing’s flagship taproom, The Grove, opened its doors on the site. The Grove quickly drew strong crowds, inspiring the next phase of development on the site. The next phase will add a new building with neighborhood-scale food, beverage, retail, showroom, and office space.
Project Details and Timeline
Located at 1500 Northside Drive, the project aims to strengthen the trail connectivity in the city’s Northwest corridor. It will link Northside Drive and Trabert Avenue and will help define the Beltline’s route. The project is part of a larger 22-mile Beltline loop that has helped generate more than $9 billion in economic development.
The next phase adds a building with 10,500 square feet of food, beverage, and retail space, plus 7,000 square feet of showroom and 3,700 square feet of flexible office space.
Pre-leasing for the development is already underway. Brittany McCall of SRS Real Estate is leading the retail leasing. Paul Reese of Capital Real Estate Group is overseeing the office leasing. The project team includes architect Gensler, civil engineer Kimley-Horn, general contractor Peter Constructive, and development consultant Westbridge.
The construction of the trail segment that goes through the site is already complete. The Atlantic Companies expects the redevelopment to be complete by the end of 2026.
