ECI Group Transfers Ownership of the Corwyn South Point Apartments
The 260-unit community, The Corwyn South Point Apartments, has been sold by the ECI Group. The property was sold to Pennsylvania-based real estate company Morgan Properties. The sale price of the property was not disclosed.
Located at 1000 Columns Drive in McDonough, Henry County, the community sits near key shopping and dining options. The apartment was the first community under ECI’s Class A Corwyn brand. The community fully leased within 16 months of opening and has remained consistently occupied.
David Gutting of Newmark represented the seller in the transaction. With this sale, the property will now be renamed Arden at South Point. The acquisition of the community supports Morgan Properties’ growth in the Atlanta-area housing market.
Development and Features of The Corwyn South Point
ECI Group developed and managed the community since it opened four years ago. It includes 10 buildings offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Situated near South Point Boulevard and I-75, the community offers residents convenient access to shopping, dining, and entertainment.
The property features a 2,000-square-foot clubhouse with a kitchen and a fitness center with yoga and spin rooms. It also includes a gathering room with a lounge, fireplace, TV, and gaming area. The outdoor features include a resort-style pool, grilling and fire pit areas, a courtyard with lawn games, and a bocce court. There is also a dog park and a pet wash station.
