Marietta-based developer Brock Built filed its fourth batch of multifamily permit applications this week for the The Finley, a 61-unit townhome project at 1029 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in the Bankhead neighborhood.
This month’s building applications are for the construction of the three-story, six-unit Building 07, and they follow filings from last year for 19 units across three of the project’s other buildings.
Plans have been underway since 2018, when Brock Built announced its intent with The Finley to build a relatively affordable community along the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway corridor. It purchased the 3.7-acre project site, which is within about half a mile of the Bankhead MARTA station, that year for about $3.4 million, according to Fulton County records.
Designed by Atlanta-based firm Goode Van Slyke Architecture, The Finley is to consist of three- and four-story buildings including anywhere from three to seven units along with covered porches and approximately 700-square-foot roof terraces.
Founded in 1984, Brock Built is behind a number of homebuilding projects in Atlanta. Its work includes the currently selling Westside Station as well as the sold-out, 30-unit Oliver Street Townhomes in the Westside neighborhood.
