Buckhead will soon have a second Orangetheory Fitness Studio to choose from.

Space at 2255 Peachtree Road in The Aramore is currently being converted into the wellness facility, a contractor working on the refit confirmed on the phone with What Now Atlanta.

An opening is likely in early-2020, they said.

Orangetheory’s presence has exploded in metro Atlanta in recent years.

Forty-one area franchises and counting are listed on the company’s main site, including three—Madison Yards, Chamblee and Gainesville—being marked as “Coming Soon.”

The critical draw: the studios incorporate treadmill training, indoor rowing and weight training blocks to masterfully gamify the workout experience.

In each high-intensity interval workout, participants wear heart-rate monitors track their stats on overhead screens. Reaching the desired “orange zone” could mean unlocking hours of post-workout metabolism “afterburn.”

The Peachtree Road location will be surrounded by neighbors—and veritable temptations—Starfish Sushi & Bar, Bun Mi Vietnamese Grill, and Holeman and Finch Public House (before it heads to Colony Square, anyway.)
