The cycling, kickboxing, and yoga studio coming soon to the Brookleigh development.

Burn Studios, a cycling, kickboxing, and yoga boutique studio has plans to open in Brookhaven October 2015, the company in a press release announced Monday.

The studio will occupy space in Brookleigh, at 3575 Durden Drive, Suite 202, the same development that houses Pure Taqueria, Primrose, Brookwood Provisions, and the soon-to-open Glaze (a doughnut and coffee bar).

Burn Studios will come from partners Alex Royter and Jeremy Levison. Levison is an Atlanta native and has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry.

“I am thrilled to bring my strong understanding on how to motivate and provide the highest level of service to the fitness community,” Levison said in the release. “Burn is looking forward to serving Brookhaven and beyond.”

Burn Studios will feature technology that provides real time stats for patrons as they exercise in addition to cycle shoes, kickboxing gloves, and a retail section.

The space will be designed by Frandsen Architects whose portfolio includes Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Ebenezer First Baptist Church.

Brookleigh is a mixed-use community located just north of Brookhaven on Johnson Ferry Road at the site of the former Johnson Ferry East public housing project. The Housing Authority of DeKalb County is re-developing the property through a partnership with The Norsouth Companies and The Collaborative Firm, according to the development’s website.
