UPDATE (January 8, 2019): Candytopia To Open February 8 in Buckhead’s Lenox Marketplace
Candytopia is moving forward with plans to open an Atlanta exhibit next year.
The “candy-coated experiential adventure” will be situated in the Lenox Marketplace shopping center, at 3535 Peachtree Road, according to permits submitted this week to the City of Atlanta.
It will take space 225 on Level B of the development adjacent Signature Nail Salon and Spa.
An estimated $107,000 could be spent building out the 14,336-square-foot exhibit, according to the plans.
The art exhibit will feature more than one dozen rooms with interactive art installations.
Guests are treated to candy samples throughout the entire experience including sours and gummies, chocolate treats, nostalgic favorites, and many sweet surprises.
Its Atlanta run will be limited but an exact timeframe has not yet been revealed.
At the time of its announcement last week, Candytopia representatives would not disclose the exact location.
“We haven’t announced the exact location yet but will come back to you with an update there as soon as we’re ready.”
