Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown is certified open.

The “lifestyle” Hilton brand officially debuted December 20, at 1414 West Peachtree Street NW, according to a press release Thursday.

Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown is partially-owned and operated by Concord Hospitality, developed by Greystar and Whitman Peterson, and designed by R2L: Architects.

It is home to 176 rooms, including four suites.

“The interiors of the rooms are inspired by the thriving art community surrounding the hotel, with local textiles and artwork featured throughout,” according to the press release.

“With the help of designers Krause Sawyer, as well as three local commissioned artists, the interior styling of the hotel mimics the vibrant community that awaits outside.”

The hotel’s in-house restaurant Xhibit Studio Kitchen & Bar has also opened.

Xhibit Studio Kitchen & Bar’s menu highlights include Shrimp & Grits, Southern Buttermilk Pie, and a selection of local cheese, beer and wines.

The hotel has three meeting rooms and a 24-hour fitness center.

Tastings are held nightly for guests serving hummus, pretzels, Sweetwater 420 Cheese Dip, and other daily hotel offerings.

Other amenities include complimentary “artisanal breakfast” and Wi-Fi as well as a welcome gift (a little something from the neighborhood.)

Complimentary “Canopy Bikes” are available for exploring the City.

  • Shrimp and grits are a menu highlight? You’re joking right? It’s Atlanta. Everyone and their mother has shrimp and grits on their menu, and I promise you I can beat 95% of them because it’s the same tired set. That’s not a menu highlight. That’s copy and paste, lack of imagination. Let me guess: they’ll have pimento cheese too… And probably a double stack burger…. And chicken and waffles. LAME. I’ve been a chef for 21 years, across 8 states, and I guarantee I can design a better menu in 30 minutes then they probably spent days on. Laughable.
