Alabama-based Civil Axe Throwing this week will debut its first Atlanta outpost.

The axe-throwing venue is set to “soft open” in The Beacon Atlanta on Friday, October 11, at 1039 Grant Street SE Suite B-32.

An official grand opening with a “Ribbon Chopping Ceremony” is on the books for Friday, October 18.

As its name suggests, Civil Axe Throwing offers guests the opportunity to chuck hatchets towards a wooden target with a goal of hitting the bullseye.

It costs $25 per hour per person.

Private lanes, each with two targets, start at $200 per hour with up to eight people.

Bringing outside food and beverage is encouraged as Civil Axe Throwing does not have an F&B component.

{Editor’s note: this article was updated to reflect the new soft opening date of Oct. 11. Civil Axe Throwing was originally planning on debuting in Inman Park on Oct. 4.}
