CommonGrounds Workplace has expanded to Atlanta with the opening of a Midtown outpost, at 999 Peachtree Street NE. The co-working facility is occupying a 49,506-square-foot space in the 28-story building.

“Our Midtown Atlanta workplace meets the needs of companies that are expanding in Atlanta and looking to take advantage of our enterprise-grade Space-as-a-Service platforms,” Jacob Bates, CEO for CommonGrounds Workplace, said in a press release earlier this month announcing the opening.

CommonGround’s lease includes the entire third and fourth floors and access to the building’s roof deck, fitness center, and parking. “Offering well over 100 square feet per person with everyday amenities, [CommonGrounds] has taken extreme safety measures and precautions, including additional cleaning services, to ensure they provide the safest environment for their members,” according to the release.

Headquartered in San Diego, Calif. since 2015, the privately held company completed its Series A funding, totaling $140 million. It is expected to next open an outpost in Downtown Los Angeles’ Financial District on Oct. 1, 2020.
