Epic Development has plans for a 38-unit townhome project in Southeast Atlanta’s Benteen Park neighborhood, according to plans submitted with the city of Atlanta late last month.
The Atlanta-based residential developer would build the project at a 3-acre site at 1304 Boulevard SE, just southeast of the intersection of Boulevard and Benteen Way, plans show.
Located near the eastern edge of Chosewood Park, the project site is mostly vacant wooded land. Its southern portion also holds the remnants of an abandoned car wash that would be demolished to make way for the development, according to special administrative permit materials on file with the city.
Plans call for 38 three-bedroom townhomes fronting Boulevard and Benteen Way, along with 89 parking spaces. The project would provide about 50,000 square feet of usable open space and offer a total of almost 8,000 square feet of rooftop terrace space for residents.
Pimsler Hoss Architects is the architect for the project, according to application documents.
Epic Development is behind several for-sale projects around Atlanta, including The Village Stacks, a 20-home project currently under construction in the East Atlanta Village area.
It didn’t immediately respond to request for comment on its plans in Benteen Park.
The landowner for the project site is shown in SAP documents as Epic VII LLC. The property was acquired for $100,000 in 2006, according to Fulton County records.
