The hotel Wednesday also unveiled its new in-house restaurant Southern Grove.
DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody reopened Wednesday following a $12 million overhaul, the hotel in a press release this week announced.
Owners Whitman Peterson and Sage Hospitality also debuted Southern Grove, Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody’s new in-house restaurant.
“DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody gives guests quick and easy access to the best that Atlanta has to offer. We are conveniently located inside the perimeter in Dunwoody, giving our guests access to the area’s vibrant business community along with some of the best shopping and dining in the city,” Bryan Shepherd, General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody, said in the release.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming guests into the hotel.”
The new Atlanta hotel features 250 guest rooms with options from King, double-Queen, to one-bedroom suites. All rooms feature artwork that has been locally curated by NINE dot ARTS and is inspired by the city of Atlanta.
Adjacent to the communal space and lobby bar is Southern Grove, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
Led by Chef Ken Kuiken, the restaurant features “contemporary southern comfort food with authentic service.” The menu includes eats like “Cornbread Sliders” served with 16-hour slow-cooked pulled pork topped with a bourbon peach glaze and crunchy coleslaw and house-pickled okra, to beverages including brews from Sweetwater Brewing Company.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody boasts 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
The largest of the 11 spaces, the Azalea Ballroom, is approximately 5,700 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 guests.
To celebrate the hotel’s opening, Hilton Honors members will earn an additional 1,000 Points per night (up to a maximum of 5,000 Points) for bookings through November 24, 2017, when booking directly with Hilton.
