Real estate company Engel & Völkers Atlanta has announced the integration of Davis & Hawbaker Real Estate, a local and established firm with relationships and expertise in Atlanta, Smyrna, Marietta, Sandy Springs, Canton and other communities.

Davis & Hawbaker Real Estate was founded by Greg Davis and Jimmy Hawbaker in 2020.

“Despite the softening market, we continue to grow,”  Engel & Völkers Atlanta CEO Christa Huffstickler said in a news release. “Our continued success can be attributed to our local relationships and talent, as well as the global platform of Engel & Völkers. We are thrilled to welcome Greg, Jimmy and their team to Engel & Völkers and for them to be yet another exciting part of our growth story.”

This deal is the latest expansion news for Engel & Völkers in Atlanta. Last year, Huffstickler added Engel & Völkers Sandy Springs, Engel & Völkers Buckhead and Engel & Völkers North Atlanta to her portfolio and opened Engel & Völkers North Georgia Mountains in Blue Ridge.

Engel & Völkers Atlanta saw an increase of sales by 11 percent compared to the previous year, launched two new developments and closed out sales at two new developments, according to the news release.

“The opportunity to be a part of the Engel & Völkers platform, which is unparalleled in Atlanta and around the world, was too good to pass up,” Davis said. “We admire the leadership that Christa has shown and the robust suite of offerings that will allow us to better serve our clientele from a marketing, positioning, and executional perspective.”

Engel & Völkers began in 1977 as a specialty boutique providing high-end real estate services in Hamburg, Germany. The company now operates a global network of over 16,000 real estate advisors in more than 31 countries. Engel & Völkers Atlanta launched in 2017.
