Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is coming soon to The Atlantic mixed-use residential tower at Atlantic Station, according to permits filed with the City of Atlanta.

It will be the first Atlanta location for the growing fitness franchise.

With “train like a champ” as its tagline, the gym will offer an authentic experience for those who want to learn from professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s techniques and training regimens, in a high-intensity group fitness setting.

The company’s flagship gym opened in Los Angeles two summers ago, about a year after Mayweather’s fight against Conor McGregor.

The first franchise location opened in Tampa and, since, more than 100 franchises have been in development across the country.

“The lease for the Atlantic Station gym was signed about a year ago,” Mal Nanayakkara, who works in Franchise Development at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, shared with What Now Atlanta on Thursday.

Mayweather Boxing + Fitness has at least three more locations in Buckhead, Douglassville, and Peachtree City slated to enter the greater Atlanta market in 2020, according to its website.
