The first-of-its-kind facility promises to be ‘an immersive experience for athletes.’
Businesses in The Battery Atlanta, the mixed-use development adjacent SunTrust Park, are gearing to open as the baseball season is in full swing.
The first business to open, making its debut Monday, April 10, is the Mizuno Experience Center, a company spokesperson in an email this week told What Now Atlanta.
“The Mizuno Experience Center at The Battery Atlanta is Mizuno’s new home base, showcasing the brand and its commitment to Atlanta,” the spokesperson said.
“Here, visitors can get a firsthand feel for Mizuno’s gear whether that’s finding the perfect bat weight and length through our patented BIOS system, getting custom fitted for a set of golf clubs, or experiencing the Mizuno Wave technology by running a simulated Peachtree Road Race.”
A ribbon cutting for invited guests is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. Monday, marking the official opening of the Mizuno Experience Center.
