NCG Brookhaven Cinema will grand open Thursday, June 4, according to a Facebook page for the event.

The boutique theatre is situated in the Northeast Plaza, at 3365 Buford Hwy Unit 920.

It will feature reserved, heated, powered recliners, free refills on all sizes of soft drinks and popcorn, and beer and wine service.

First announced in mid-2019, NCG Brookhaven boasts 734 seats across 10 screens.

The theatre was originally slated to open before the end of last year in time for the release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”

It’s unclear what caused the six-month delay.

NCG Brookhaven replaces the former 12-screen Northeast Plaza Cinema and most recently the Atlanta Peach Ballroom nightclub.

Michigan-based parent company NCG Cinemas operates seven Georgia theatres including the Brookhaven outpost: Acworth, Marietta, Peachtree Corners, Peachtree City, Snellville, and Stone Mountain.
