UPDATE (May 4, 2018): Ground Breaks on Phase II of East Lake’s Hosea + 2nd Development

The team behind Hosea + 2nd in East Lake are moving forward with the project’s Phase II.

ReDevStudio this week filed plans with the City of Atlanta for the project’s next phase which includes the construction of a 7,500-square-foot two-story building.

The new building will house two restaurants and three offices, all of which will require separate permitting.

An estimated $1,614,000 will be spent building the new structure from the ground up.

Phase II is expected to break ground this quarter with project completion expected before year-end, Jay Martin, a principal at RevDevStudio told What Now Atlanta in an email.

“We are just beginning to talk to potential tenants,” he said.

“Our focus is finding local, independent proprietors with unique offerings that will complement the existing offerings across the street in Phase I of our Hosea & 2nd project.”

Several Hosea + 2nd restaurants are already open including Poor Hendrix, Greater Good BBQ, and Mix’D Up BurgersMary Hoopa’s House of Fried Chicken & Oysters could open any day now.

The final phase—site 4—will house offices and boutique retail.
