One Museum Place, a planned 45-unit condominium mid-rise, will soon be constructed in Midtown directly across from the High Museum of Art.

Residential developer John Wieland Monday submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta to construct the condos from the ground up, at 1301 Peachtree Street.

“Instead of constructing a glass tower, I reserved the property to build the kind of home where I would want to live,” Weiland said in a statement on the condos’ website.

Units are rumored to be sold at $700,000 to $2.5 million each.

An estimated $6,000,000 will be spent on the concrete, “foundation packages” and MEPs (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) for the project, according to the application.

More permits are expected to be filed in the coming weeks.
